Certification
ZABS implements standards through a Certification Mark Scheme whereby good quality products conforming to Zambian Standards are given a mark, which serves as an assurance to the buyer that the product has been produced under strict quality control/quality assurance system approved by the ZABS.
The presence of the certification mark on a given product is an indication that the product conforms to a specified standard. Therefore, when consumers buy products bearing this mark they should reasonably expect that the product meets standard requirements and are of acceptable quality.
